Just wanted to let you all known the Breast Screen NSW Van is coming to The Sutherland Shire until early February. Check the dates below on the Breast Screen NSW website. Share with your family and friends.

The Van will be at Menai And Engadine until early February.

You can also book an appointment at Breast Screen Miranda or Kogarah. Alternatively you can ask your general practitioner for an ultrasound, mammogram or MRI referral. If you are concerned ask for a referral to a breast surgeon.

You can attend Breast Screen from the age of 40. Although they do not recommend screening for women under the age of 40.

If you are under 40 you need to know your own breasts and your risk of breast cancer. Self examine monthly and speak to your gp on how you can understand your breast cancer risk.

Breast Cancer Trials has a great tool called iPrevent to identify your risks of breast cancer.

BreastScreen NSW invites you to have your first screening mammogram at the age of 50. After this, they recommend you have one screening mammogram every two years until the age of 74.
