Bush Tucker, Bush Medicine Walks at Botany Bay
| Details: |
An easy stroll along the Banks and Solander Track with an Aboriginal Discovery Ranger. There will be Tools and Weapon display along with some bush tucker to try. Learn how Aboriginal people lived with the land, which provided everything they needed to survive. Wear sturdy shoes, hat and sunscreen. Why not stay for a picnic after the activity.

Jazz and Shiraz Food and Wine Festival

Rivalling the best food and wine festivals across the country, Cronulla's annual Food and Wine Festival, Jazz & Shiraz provides the perfect way to warm the senses on a crisp autumn day while enjoying some luscious wines, fine food and smooth jazz, all with a beautiful ocean backdrop.
Now in its seventh year, Jazz & Shiraz is has grown to encompass one of Cronulla's best known restaurant strips, with stalls spreading across Peryman Square increasing the choice of food and wine to sample.
On the edge of one of Australia's best beaches, wineries from the Hunter, Mudgee and Margaret River regions will be on hand with their best offerings, along with sparkling bubbles, frozen cocktails and a selection of some of Australia's finest boutique beers - so as not to disappoint the lager lovers.
An assortment of international flavours as well as a selection of gourmet delights like fine chocolates, pure honey, chilli and delicious olive oils will also be great crowd pleasers.
A great line up of local and well known artists will perform on stage with a fun mix of fine, contemporary and funk jazz.
Entry and entertainment is FREE, so just come along to enjoy the food, the wine and the jazz!
Jazz & Shiraz was awarded Highly Commended Tourist attraction, Sutherland Shire Tourism Awards 2007 and is definitely one event that should grace your calendar.
