Explore the collection of many trams from throughout the world in the Display Hall.
Which includes the only purpose built prison tram in the world, which ran between Darlinghurst Court House and Long Bay Gaol from 1909 to 1949. Also explore lots of photographs and memorabilia from the tram era!

10am to 5m - Sundays & Public Holidays (Closed Christmas Day)
10am to 3pm - Wednesdays & most School Holiday Weekdays
12pm to 5pm - Saturdays (School Holidays Only – Check dates)

Getting to the Museum:
(Located on Pitt Street & Princes Highway - adjacent to Loftus Railway Station, on the Waterfall Rail Line.)
If travelling by car, access via Sutherland Shopping Village, Old Princes Highway.
Limited parking adjacent to the museum.
The Sydney Tramway Museum is entirely run by Volunteer members of The South Pacific Electric Railway Co-operative Society Ltd. Who have been preserving trams since 1950.
