The Sutherland Shire offers a haven for artists and art lovers alike. Hazelhurst Regional Gallery & Arts Centre is a unique arts complex, the regional gallery and theatre attract world class exhibitions and screenings to southern Sydney. The current exhibition ARTEXPRESS is a popular annual showcase of outstanding art by 2012 HSC students from around NSW and is on until 17 March 2013.

Hazelhurst boasts tranquil gardens which are popular for weddings and special functions as well as a café that offers fine food and great coffee. Budding artists can also hone their skills at one of the many art courses offered.

The Bundeena Maianbar Art Trail offers insight into the working lives of artists and is set in an idyllic location surrounded by the Royal National Park. You can explore the Art Trail on the first Sunday of every month, when artists’ studios are open to the public. You’ll find an official Art Trail map on a sign post in the main street of Bundeena and big yellow and green art trail signs displayed outside each studio.
